Science Of Persuasion

  1. I thought it was cool to think that, if you were a waiter and you brought a customer a mint then they are more likely to tip you higher. I feel like I can influence people to do things that they don't normally want to do, just by talking to them and finding similarities. and I felt it was cool that people wanted more of something, if there is less of it. 2. I think that it is crazy how small things like mints and mixing of words can change your idea. I learned that people will do a favor for you if they feel like they owe you something. I really think that it’s true that when there is less of something more people want it because it is rare. I always feel like I owe someone if they invite me to a party or they gave me a special gift. The video was so true on so many levels and I think that there are many different kinds of persuasion. 3. I think its crazy that if a person has a diploma or wears a uniform that people do things for them, like giving a person change for a parking meter just because he was wearing a uniform or when a person uses a business just because there is a diploma on the wall. This video relates to me so much because I always feel that I should invite somebody to a party after they invite me to theirs. Every single persuasion technique has happened to me B.M.B
